  • v0.252 Oct 24, 2026 Minor Latest
    • Fixed Some feeds stopped updating after a bug was introduced that removed their source links. This has been fixed!

    • Security Foragd now has a much tighter Content Security Policy (CSP) applied, protecting you better against insecure and dangerous feed content.
    • Improved Some preliminary support has been added to utilise browser tab indicators when loading content in Foragd.
    • Improved Tweaks to caching and page loading should improve resposiveness even further.
    • Fixed Many more feeds, which don't publish their own categories now have categories. If you notice any odd category choices, please report the feed!

    • Improved When adding/editing subscriptions, you can now choose categories from a list of standard categories, as well as adding your own custom ones.

    • New You can now bulk unsubscribe from the subscriptions settings page.
    • Improved Importing via OPML has been greatly overhauled. You now start an import and it is processed in the background. There is a status page you can check on the progress, and new subscribtions will show up as they are added and updated. Any import errors are clearer as well.
    • Fixed The latest articles shown on subscription cards would sometimes not update after an item was read/unread. This has been fixed.

    • Fixed When you changed the font style, it would sometimes revert back to the default. This is fixed and your custom choice stays.
    • Fixed Recent updates broke highlighting the current page in the sidebar/dock. That's been fixed.
    • Improved When viewing the articles for a subscription, the filter icon to the left of the subscription name is now clickable, and will take you to the edit subscription page. Similarly, when the subscription you are viewing has articles with geo info, you'll see a map icon that when clicked, will take you to the map with the articles.

    • Fixed In some rare cases, an OPML import will fail because of misbehaving servers when fetching feed details. This has been fixed.
    • Fixed Importing via OPML or adding directly feeds with minimum information (no timestamps, etc.) is more robust.
    • Improved When importing via OPML, the results page will show more specific reasons for feeds failing to import.
    • Improved Subscription dynamic info, like unread counts and last updated is now calculated just in time, and results are cached. This should result in less chance of seeing stale subscription info.
    • Improved Behind the scenes, the app keeps track of the pages you browse, which should make actions like back buttons work more smoothly.

    • Fixed Feeds generated from YouTube channels/playlists should have better thumbnails now.
    • Fixed OPML imports might fail due to strict date parsing. This has been made more lenient and more OPML files should be able to be imported.
    • Improved If you have "Mark Article Read on View" enabled in the display settings, then browsing through articles with the next/previous buttons will automatically mark the articles as read.

    • New GeoRSS support. There is an experimental Map page that shows the latest 50 articles that have geo data, on a world map.
    • New There is a now a linter tool at /linter. If you are a feed producer or developer, this will be useful to ensure your feeds are both valid and implement various optional features for maximum compatibility and user experience.
    • Improved Logic for determining read/unread status has been improved and will properly respect the Max View History value you've set in Display Settings.
    • Improved Search has been tweaked and relevance of results has been improved.

    • New You can now browse and discover feeds in the Foragd database on the Discover page. Search by keyword, topic and filter by category to browse available feeds.

    • New Rolling out support for sites without a native feed. There is currently a feed for Associated Press website (https://apnews.com) in the database (search for the URL or just "AP News" to add it). More to come.
    • New Support for requesting custom feeds. Just contact us with details about a site without a feed, and we'll work out and do the work to make a custom feed/subscription for you.
    • Fixed When clicking through group subscriptions, unread articles were not displayed. This has been fixed!
